Ivan held early leadership roles at Red Bull, Muscle Milk, and Quest Bar, directly contributing to the successful acquisitions of the latter two global nutrition brands. As a management consultant and fractional CMO, he guided founders across many industries through various stages of the startup process. He currently sits on the advisory board of select new ventures.

While writing his first book Isla Vulnerable, Ivan learned how he and his family were all predisposed to living extremely private lives due to his father's secret past as a US spy. During Ivan's early adult life, this guardedness was compounded as he compartmentalized his daily life while coming to terms with his own true identity.

After living with PTSD and agoraphobia for nine months due to the culmination of challenging life events, Ivan overcame his symptoms with a toolbox of mental health resources he discovered during his healing journey. His story has been featured in regional and national media.
